SHOP NAMES: BohoBin
HOST: CunninglyCrafted
Check out this thread and join us for the fun!
What's all this? Read our About Us page to find out!

We are changing the Sneak Attack format to hopefully get more members to participate and make it more fun for everyone.
Andrea of https://www.etsy.com/shop/CunninglyCrafted has graciously volunteered to be the new hostess and Leader of all of the Sneak Attacks and has come up with a new format that we are going to try out. Other ideas or improvements are welcome.
We will only be doing one shop a week!
So it should be easier to give the one shop more love and attention! The SNEAK thread will be left up all week. :)
Andrea and Ros will keep a running list of shops in this thread https://www.etsy.com/teams/7565/handmademovement/discuss/18663140, so if you miss a week, or just get bored, you can go back and see former shops and leave some extra love. :) We know not everyone gets on every day, and some only a few times a month. So that thread will be an easy way for the people who aren't on as often to still see all the fun shops!
CURRENT SCHEDULE:
Week of Apr. 17- Apr 23 Time: ALL WEEK
Week of Apr. 24- Apr 30 Time: ALL WEEK
Week of May 1- May 7 Time: ALL WEEK
Week of May 8- May 14 Time: ALL WEEK
Week of May 15- May 21 Time: ALL WEEK

Meet Monika
Monika's shop was sneak attacked 2 years ago, and she been the host several times. According to Monika...
Few years ago - about 2-3 years after my coming to England - I decided to make my first card - Namesday card for my Dad, this first one was silly looking one but my Dad loved it and that's how I started with my new hobby.
And boy have Monika's cards taken off - I have several that I use for Birthday cards - they are too cute and my granddaughters love them.
Here are just two examples:
And join us in our sneak attack thread for lots of fun!!

Meet Debbie
Browsing through Debbie's shop, I found lots of Highlights magazines. Wonderful books with things to make, things to do, stories that kept children occupied in the dentist office or the doctors office. I can remember my children reading them. Can you?
A little more about the magazine...

Meet Virginia
Virginia and her hubby live in California and can always be found on the road - visiting friends and relatives everywhere! Boy I wish I could travel like they do - our family is scattered all over the US.
And no matter where they are, at home or on the road, Virginia always checks in with the team, to find the latest news, meeting new members and checking out all the new items in the shops. A great team member all the way around.
While Virginia's shop is on vacation - I took a look at some of the items she has sold in the past - and the items are made with lots of love. Some of my favorites for Halloween are:

Meet Monika
Monika's shop is filled with delightful greeting cards and adorable jewelry of all kinds. While currently there is only one listing for her greeting cards - they don't last long in her shop - always being selected as something just right.
Looks like not only family and friends like my cards - few of them was printed in crafting magazines:)
That is a great feeling to have one's creation placed in a magazine for many to see.

Meet Summer
I love to read about our host's shops - there is always such interesting stories about their shop and how they got started. Says Summer:
I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. My first beading venture was a bead curtain for my closet when I was in junior high school. It was massive and heavy. It has since been recycled into some of the creations you see in my shop. I have branched out my designs from those days to the one of a kind pieces you will see in my shop.
Here is Summer and her assistant...

Meet Debbie
Do you wonder how our hosts came up with the name for their shop? Debbie says:
I named my shop Sweetgrass Valley because of the sweet grass I have been blessed to be able to tend since 2002 and the Ohio valley where I live.
Browsing through Debbie's shop is always fun - and since I LOVE earrings, couldn't resist showing you two of my favorites!
Please join us in our sneak attack thread - lots of fun, clues and member to meet!!

Meet Kinslea
I love to hear about our hosts - everyone's background and life style is so different. Kinslea says:
I'm a busy girl from a family of 7. I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, cooking, and playing the piano (I'm also hoping to pick up the violin someday soon) You go girl.
These religious themed cards are wonderful. Imagine the warmth felt when you send them to someone you care about.

Meet Theresa
I love to find out how our hosts got started with their crafts. Theresa's talent started at a young age.
I learned to sew at the age of 12, the projects were not fun nor were they anything I wanted to wear, we didn't get choices. That summer I took a sewing class at the local high school and everything changed for me I had a great teacher and got to make things I wanted to wear. I will always be grateful to that teacher for teaching me something I would continue to do all of my life.
I remember those home ec days - didn't get to make anything that I liked either.
Theresa has taken her love of sewing in a variety of crafts - from quilts to wall hangings and so much more.

Meet Kinslea and Andrea
Kinslea is a brand new member - a victim of a recent sneak attack and now a brand new host! Andrea has been a member for quite awhile and has hosted several times. What a wonderful team! And I know that the shops they have chosen will be wonderful too!
Kinslea comes from a small town in North Carolina. Her grandmother loves making cards of all kinds and shared that love with her daughter and granddaughter. 3 generations creating cards that will warm the hearts of those who purchase and those who receive them.
Chose from birthday, to sympathy to get well. Each card is unique!

Meet Sandi
As I mentioned, Sandi has been a member for a number of years. Her focus has changed over time, and now she loves to make crocheted items for the home. I really love her moving to coasters -you can't have too many of them.
With all the weird weather everyone has been having, I decided to bring a little sunshine into everyone's day.

Meet Theresa
I once asked Theresa where she got her inspiration. She said:
I really don't know where my inspiration comes from, sometimes things just show up in my brain and I go with it. Sometimes I see something and start figuring how I can change it and make it better.
Wherever Theresa gets her inspiration, she knows how to make it come alive.
I don't want to rush my granddaughters - but once they are married and have their own little ones - I'll need to order some of the delightful creations from Theresa's shop. Like these...
Come join us in our Sneak Attack thread for lots of fun, clues and 'victims'!!

Meet Virginia
Virginia hosted her first sneak attack back in 2012. At that time, I asked a number of questions to find out a little bit about her. One of my questions was... What got you started with your Etsy shop?
And her answer:
Being unemployed, I found that opening an Etsy shop gave me a positive focus and helped me feel productive!
I know that many of us have felt the same way - wanting to be productive in a fun and creative way!
I always love browsing thru the items that Virginia has made over the years. I have many of them, and have loved giving them as gifts. Have you seen the scarves that Virginia has made? Such a great way to accessorize.

Meet Theresa
As always Theresa has outdone herself with her wall hangings. There is so much talent there and imagination in coming up with designs. I'm a little in awe (ok, a lot of awe). I now have two of her designs - this is my latest.

Genevieve is a firm believer in helping to save the planet. Her reversible tote bags contribute to reducing the carbon foot print for a go-green lifestyle.

Meet Stefano
I love to ask our members things about themselves and their shops. Some interesting information about Stefano working with leather:
My father has always loved to work with hands. He taught me the important value of handmade items, how they are special and unique because they're all different, even if they are made out from the same project. Also he told me that my grandpa was a tailor (I never met him) and so I took tailor lessons too. This was very useful when I became a leatherworker.
And lots of love and talent go into the creations in Stefano's shop.
Stefano is taking a small break with his shop as he gets ready to participate in a faire! So I browsed his sold items, and found some interesting things to show you.
First of all - I love this Vampire Hunter Kit

SNEAK ATTACK SHOPS 6/2/2016
has made this lovely treasury of this week's chosen Sneak Attack shops and our hostess, Andrea!
Meet Andrea
I love finding out how our members decide on a shop name! Here's what Andrea told me:
When I had my first shop, I had it critiqued...and they told me I needed a better name...so, I asked my husband, and he came up with it! =)
Lots of care and love go into the items that Andrea creates.
A perfect gift for a teacher:
